The Abu Dhabi Sports Council presents the AL AIN Oasis run on Saturday afternoon 10th October offering runners the option of a 2.5Km, 5Km or 10Km run.
Starting at 4:30pm participants are to collect their race bib prior to the event at the West Gate Entrance to Al Ain Oasis.
The 10Km run will consist of a 4 loop run, with 5Km being 2 loops and the 2.5Km being a single loop.
The Abu Dhabi Sports Council have announced 30 Apple watches to be given away as prizes for runners participating in the Al Ain Oasis run.
The awarding of the Apple Watches will be:
10Km Run:
Overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd Male and Female.
First Place Male and Female in the age groups Junior (u/17), Open (18-39), MV (40+)
5Km:
Overall 1st, 2nd 3rd Male and Female.
First Place Male and Female in the age groups Junior (u/17), Open (18-39), MV (40+)
2.5Km:
First Place Male and Female in the age groups Junior (u/14), Junior (u/17), Open (18+)
Please Note that the awarding of the prizes will be based on the NET Times recorded by the official timing services and runners must start in the correct contest and complete the course fully passing all designated timing points, failure to start in the correct contest and failure to pass the designated timing points will lead to disqualification from awards.
Covering 1,200 hectares, this lush oasis provides a unique insight into the region's inhabitants who began taming the desert 4,000 years ago. Located in the centre of Al Ain, Abu Dhabi's garden city and heritage heartland. Farmers tend to thousands of date palms of 100 different varieties, as well as fodder crops and fruit trees, such as mango, orange, banana, fig and jujube (known locally as sidr). Individual plots and working farms are separated from each other by historic boundary walls.

All runners will receive a finishers' medal and on completing their respective run must move away from the finish line and not gather socially, respecting the event organisers' guidance.
By registering for the run you will receive rewards points that can be used to redeem offers, discounts and competition entries through the Inspire Rewards Program.
To be eligible for reward points you must opt in at inspire rewards before registering for an event.
Complete the run to earn points, the more you earn, the more chance you have of winning!

Delivery and Payment Confirmation. On completion of the registration you will receive an email confirming your entry into the requested competition. If you do not receive this within a reasonable time please email your query to communitysports@adsc.gov.ae
Refund Policy: Registrants can request a refund prior to the event closing but there is NO refund for registrations within 7 days of the event. Full policy is available in terms and conditions. Queries can be directed by email to communitysports@adsc.gov.ae
Submission of manual activities
The inphota platform allows submission of activities through many different means - Strava, Garmin, Fitbit - but we understand that sometimes it is preferable to submit the data in another way. To facilitate this we have produced a manual submission form which you can enter details of the activities for the contests that you have registered for.
To access the manual submission form you must be logged into the inphota account that registered for the contest, and have the details to hand. If you registered for the event using guest checkout then it is not possible to use the manual submission form.

Unfortunately this contest is restricted by age or gender, and the details in your profile do not fit within the restrictions laid out by the organiser. For this reason quick registration is not available.
However, you can still register for this contest through the usual means, and by filling out the details of the person that you want to register!
